Institute of
Management Studies
Bhaddal is located in the lap
of lush green campus of IET Bhaddal
having the picture perfect enviornment supportive of the learning process. The
peaceful, pollution free area and excellent infrastructure make IMS BHADDAL an ideal setting for
academic
pursuits. IMS is duly approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of
Punjab, Punjab Technical Board and affiliated to PTU, Jalandhar. It has been the
endeavor of the Institute to make its students and staff members management
savvy, so as to equip them to be
competitive in their careers
Infrastructure-
Institute of Management
Studies Bhaddal has tastefully designed
state-of-the-art buildings. IMS Bhaddal today has created huge infrastructure to impart training in various streams
of Management. The IMS Bhaddal campus with approx more than 3 acres of land
spread out in an area of more than 60 acres of prime land in the beautiful and
pictures que surroundings speaks volumes about the infrastructure of the
Institute.
Training and Placement Cell -
We have full time training and placement cell having close liaison with industryWe have full time training and placement cell having close liaison with industry to look after the needs of industrial training and placements. In addition to training and placement cell organizes various kinds of activities like Summer Training, Personality Development and Industrial tours. Our previous placement of B.Tech and MBA Students are in Companies like Accenture, Perrot Systems, Cheema boilers, Reliance Communication, Siemens, JCT, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Godrej, Tata Communications, ICICI, Barclay bank etc.
Library Facility
A fully equipped rich library to
cater the academic & intellectual
needs of the faculty & students. Multiple copies of the text books numbering
more than 2276 are available.
Besides this, National & International Journals, Encyclopedia, Handbooks,
Research Proceedings, etc are available. The library subscribes to 30
periodicals of Indian & Foreign origin. It also operates a BOOK BANK essentially
to meet the needs of economically weaker students, who are issued textbooks for
full one semester. From last academic year, the library has started operating
book bank scheme, to help the students to get the text books of each subject
issued to them for whole semester on nominal charges for their benefit.
The Institute subscribes to innumerable magazines and journals which covers for
quality education & research related to the management & technology. For the benefit of hostlers,
the library remains open till late hours even on holidays.

Hostels
5 Boys hostel with capacity of 500 students 2 Girls hostel with
capacity of 350 students In each hostel, an activity centre, a reading room, DTH
TV and water coolers have been provided. The hostels have Wi-Fi facility, which
the students are using for getting internet facility on their desktops and
laptops.

Transportation
A dedicated fleet of 25 buses plying from Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula, Ludhiana, Patiala, Nangal and Ropar for the conveyance of students and enhances the teaching –learning efficiency.

Counseling Services
Counseling is available for individuals who require additional personal support.
This service is offered by the Institute and headed by a regular qualified
Counsellor
Medical Services
Medical facility is provided to the students and staff. The institute maintains
the medical centre that is manned round the clock by the qualified residential
medical staff. The medical centre is geared to cater to the basic medical needs
and first-aid in an emergency situation
Sports & Cultural Activities
The Institute provides excellent facilities for track events, well designed
fields and courts along with separate gymnasium for boys and girls. Our students
in university tournaments show an excellent performance. The institute conducts
Athletic Meet and other sports event every year. 11th Annual Athletic meet was
conducted on 26-27th Feb. 2010, while the Annual Cultural function was organized
on 13th March 2010
